I'm getting so annoyed of people who feel the need to constantly
talk about how much they hate Blood On The Dance Floor. If you don't like them, that's fine, no one's saying you have to, but why do people feel the need to go on and on about it?
Yes, there are musicians that I really can't stand, but has anyone heard of this wonderful new suggestion? DON'T LISTEN TO THEM. You are entitled to your own opinion, but why waste your time over something you really hate that much? Why can't you find something better to do instead of making pointless posts about how much you hate BOTDF. Yes, we know you hate them, but just give it a rest already. And isn't it a little bit harsh that you bash the fans and saying they have poor music taste? People can listen to what they like, you know, it doesn't have to be your uber heavy metal music or anything else you claim to be 'real music'
Music is something that we enjoy listening to, whether we're feeling down, feel like dancing or just chilling out, and if you as an individual enjoy listening to a certain band or singer, despite their reputation, then do it. People are going to listen to BOTDF and instead of bitching about how much you hate them and using cruel words against the fans (e.g. calling them brain dead retards), get your head out of your ass and get over it. Not everyone is going to like what you like.
Also, not every song in the world is going to have meaning. A lot of songs don't have to have lyrics that connect with the listener, but can be played for dancing, partying or just having fun. They don't have to be meaningful all the time.
Okay, so we know that BOTDF songs include a lot of sexual and explicit lyrics, and so many haters use this as an excuse to knock them down verbally, but you should never take songs like that seriously. Songs like "Sexting", "Bitches Get Stitches", "Revenge Porn" and "Candyland" should not
be taken seriously. They were only made for the fun of it. People like them because they sound catchy, so what's wrong with that? Also, have any of you actually heard their non-sexual songs? A lot of BOTDF haters only pay attention to their explicit songs, without actually paying attention to their more meaningful songs.
-You Done Goofed
-Rise And Shine
-Don't Want To Be Like You
All of these songs above have some kind of connection with the listener, yet haters are completely ignorant to them and use their sexual songs as an excuse to constantly express hate about them, not actually paying attention to their more meaningful songs.
Another thing is Dahvie Vanity and the whole pedophile thing. That's another thing I'm getting sick of seeing both on Tumblr, Youtube and here. All I see are posts on how Dahvie is a horrible person, how he's an apparent pedophile and that he should be jailed.
Newsflash people, Dahvie Vanity is NOT GOING ANYWHERE.
You can all moan and complain about it all you want, but nothing's going to happen. A lot of haters will probably send me paragraphs of 'proof' (I'm not even going to read one sentence and I'll delete it anyway, so please, don't waste your time) Also, I'd love to know how these people get these so called 'police records' of Dahvie's offense, because aren't these things meant to be confidential? I doubt the police would purposely put these records on the internet, so a lot of this 'evidence' is most likely fake. If Dahvie truly was a horrible sex offender, I'm sure he'd be put away for years by now (much like Ian Watkins, a real sex offender who got put away for 35 years)
So what I'm trying to say here is to leave them be, drop the whole 'Dahvie Vanity is a pedo' thing and move on. If you don't like them, don't listen. It's simple. But don't go around the internet bragging on and on about it, and don't start picking on fans, because it's our right to listen to them. Stop wasting your time with them if you really hate them so much.
Lastly, if there are any of you who say things like "Real music=METAL" (quote from my ex boyfriend) (or any other kind of genre), then you need to grow the fuck up. Okay, so real music may be that genre to you, but don't go around the internet talking down another person's music taste just because you don't like it (My ex used to talk down to his sister just because she like Panic! At The Disco), because it's pointless, stupid and it just makes you look like a douche
