Anyway, earlier this week I stumbled upon something that has been going around the internet for a little while now. It's a twitter page called "Cut For Bieber" I first found out about it when FoREVerSpACEd made a status on Facebook about it. All I can say is....What the fuck.
So apparently, Justin Bieber was caught smoking pot and now his rabid fan base have reacted badly and are now cutting themselves and putting pictures up of their cuts on Twitter! It's seriously disgusting. It technically mocks people who actually self harm and people who used to. Yes, he smoked pot, so what? A lot of celebrities have done drugs that are illegal, why cut yourself just for some (*cough* terrible*cough* *cough*) singer? It's seriously unbelievable how these stupid little girls would actually harm themselves purposely and share them online just for fucking Justin Bieber. I don't know if he's aware of what his fans are doing, but if that was me (although I'd never touch drugs), I'd send out a message to my fans urging them to stop because it's simply not right and it's not fair on the real issue of self harm.
Anyway, rant over.
This week's been pretty good despite it being the first week back to College, I've actually got a lot of work done. Nothing really exciting's been going on, but I'm actually happy that I haven't gotten stressed over work or anything, which is a great feeling. I ordered a Nikki Sixx poster from eBay last Friday but it's taking ages to arrive here because it's imported from America ._. I've also been getting into a band called Tigertailz lately. They're seriously awesome (despite people saying they are glam metal taken to "ridiculous levels" ) and I love how they're from the UK (From Wales, but still), I honestly thought there wasn't any kind of glam rock or metal band from this country (where I live hardly anyone knows the bands I like) so it's awesome to know.
From their Facebook: "Tigertailz may already have the distinction of being the only UK band to share in some of the success of the hairspray heavies of the day - Mötley Crüe, L.A Guns, WASP etc - but they only achieved it by being unique, by not following others and by doing it their way. Extremity in everything - in music, in image, in art, in life..."
I still don't believe it. It's been a few days since this trend got started and I still can't believe it .__. I'm a huge fan of the Finnish band HIM. Their lead singer, Ville Valo smokes tobacco. They don't see me cutting over that. How stupid can people be?
And I order something off of eBay, this week, too. A Bad Religion watch. It's being imported here from Hong Kong so it's not exactly taking a short amount of time either so I know the feeling And Tigertailz, huh? Never heard of them. They seem good though so I'll take a look at them
Oh yeah Curtis moaned about this and then shared a screenshot or something on his FB wall The Beliebers are so pathetic
Tigertailz do sound quite good, but if i start listening to them tons i'd start drifting off from them quickly (like Owl City ;;A; :/ These kinda bands are the ones i'd listen to just now and again cause we all need to listen to some metal now and again ^^
I hope college is shut cause of snow next week as i dun want to do my BORING assingments DX
